GravityPress began in 1984 as a hand-made zine called Gravity — a half-sheet folded booklet, stapled and passed hand to hand. That fold is still sacred to us. Today GravityPress is the printing house of the Humanizer family: a place where members publish books, notebooks, zines, and journals as real, physical objects, printed on demand and sold from their own stores.

Everything here is made by a person. Members write, design, and curate their work in the Humanizer studio and publish it here under their own name and their own copyright. When a work was made with the help of an AI curator, its page says so — we believe you deserve to know how a book came to be.
